CELEBRATING THE GLORY OF GOD TOGETHER IN BIG GATHERINGS
COMMIT TO ATTEND CHURCH REGULARY
“Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts.”
Attending church helps us "Celebrate Big" the faithfulness of God regularly - a large component of our Discipleship.
The purpose though is not merely for the religious duty of attending church - but rather a personal commitment to regularly and intentionally put ourselves in an experience where God can encounter us and change us.
In an instant or over time, we've convinced that encountering God will supernaturally change our lives, the lives of our family, and the region around us.
Church is a concentration of spaces and places where God can move powerfully, from worship to greeters to preaching.
Biblically we see evidence that God will always encounter us more intimately in eight different areas; the Gospel, Scripture, Spiritual Disciplines, Spiritual Gifts, Gathered Worship, Communion, Baptism, and Suffering.
Many of these guaranteed places of encounter are evident on any given Sunday at Church!

GO PUBLIC WITH YOUR FAITH
WHAT IS BAPTISM?
Baptism is a public demonstration of your faith in Jesus Christ.
It's Like a Wedding Ring
A wedding ring doesn't make you married, but is an outward symbol of a decision you have made. The same is true of baptism. Baptism doesn't save you, but is an outward symbol of your salvation.
We have dedicated services throughout the year to celebrate together the public baptisms of people in our congregation. Some share their testimonies as well! It is a great Sunday to see what Jesus is doing.
It's Full Immersion
Just like Jesus went down into death, and came up to life - full immersion baptism is the best representation what Jesus did for us. It demonstrations us dying to our old self, and rising in life with Christ.
It's After Conversion
We practice baptism whereby people are able to consent and understand its significance - have crossed the line of faith. We do not baptize babies or young children, but we do offer child dedications.
Why Get Baptized?
Because Christ COMMANDS it.
“Go out and train everyone you meet in this way of life, marking them by baptism in the threefold name: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Then instruct them in the practice of all I have commanded you. I’ll be with you as you do this, day after day, right to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20
It demonstrates that you are a BELIEVER.
“...many of the people who heard Him believed and were baptized.” Acts 18:8
“We know that we have come to know Him, if we obey His commands.” 1 John 2:3
It demonstrates that you Identify with OTHER BELIEVERS.
“Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day.” Acts 2:41
