We want to get to know you!

Here at Hillcrest Church, we want to make an impact in your life, your community and in the world. How do we go about that?

We strive to see all people reconciled to God

and mature in Christ.

That's the driving purpose behind everything we do.

Though we are a large church, at our core we are a network of small communities called LifeGroups. These small communities function as extended families that support and challenge each other in life. All of these communities networked together make us united as one large church that gathers weekly for worship.

On Sunday's, when you visit Hillcrest Church, you will be greeted with a warm and friendly smile by one of our Guest Service Volunteers. To find information about different groups you can participate in, visit our information centre while you are here during Sunday, or click the "Programs" tab on our website. As you spend time with us, we hope you’ll join us in our mission and we hope you will grow in your spiritual journey with Jesus.

There’s no better way to get to know us than to jump right in. We look forward to meeting you

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Visiting a new church can be intimidating:
What should I wear? Where do I park? Where do my kids go?

We understand the many thoughts that can come from visiting a new church, so we want you to feel completely comfortable when you visit.

Below are some frequently asked questions. If you have any additional questions, don't hesitate to contact us.

Where is Hillcrest?

We are located at 1550 Main Street North, just off of Main Street. Take the service road and we are right south of The Heritage Inn.  Park on the south side of the Church in the parking lot. Enter our main doors facing south where you will be greeted with by a friendly guest services volunteer!

What will the church service be like?

Our service experience includes worship music and a message. The music is led by a worship leader along with a live band. The message is always focused on the Bible and how people can relate it to their daily lives. You can expect to be both encouraged and challenged by our Lead Pastor Steve (or one of the other pastors). The Sunday service lasts for 90 minutes.

What should I wear?

Some people like to dress casual and some like to put on their "Sunday best". Ultimately, we want you to feel comfortable.  After all, we are thrilled that you're joining us and want you to be more focused on the service than what you're wearing.

What about my kids?

Kids are welcome to join the service if they want, but we do provide classes for all kids ages birth - grade 8. Your child will experience age-appropriate teaching, music and fun activities designed to introduce them to a life-changing journey to follow Jesus Christ.

We make sure that all our staff and volunteers are up-to-date with their Plan 2 Protect training to make sure that your kids are in a safe and welcoming environment.

We also offer Youth Groups to Jr and Sr High kids during the week.

Hillcrest Kids, Student Ministries and all other programing begin in September in each and take a break over the summer holidays.

What if I'm not sure about Christianity?

Perfect. That's why we started the church. You can explore faith at your own pace.  We have a Alpha course that runs twice a year to answer those questions.  Alpha will start on Sept 28.

We hope this helps to ease the prospect of visiting Hillcrest. If you have any more questions please do not hesitate to call our church office (306) 692-5600 or email us at info@hillcrestmj.com.

We'd be more than happy to talk with you and answer any questions you may have!  See you soon!

We would also love to have you introduce yourself to us using the connect form:

FIND YOUR PERSONAL
NEXT STEP

We all have a need to be part of a close-knit community, a place to belong, grow, laugh and serve with others as we learn to love God, love each other, and share God’s love with our world.

That is why we have a wide variety of LifeGroups and volunteer opportunities. We also have many ministries where you can meet with others in a similar stage of life – check out our "Programs" tab in the menu.

Are you interested in exploring the Christian faith and learning more about what a personal relationship with Jesus looks like? Or you might prefer to talk with someone about your spiritual journey and together find what the best “next step” might be for you.

No matter what stage of life you are at, we want to help you continue to grow personally and spiritually. Check out "Next Steps" in the top menu where you will find: ClassesRetreats, and many more resources to help you become more who God created you to be. We look forward to being a part of your journey.
