WHAT IS ALPHA?
Alpha is a series of interactive sessions exploring the basics of the Christian faith. Each session looks at a different question about life and faith. The questions are designed to encourage conversation. Simply put, it’s an open, informal, and honest space to explore and discuss life’s big questions together.

Alpha is free and open to everyone. Starting in the fall, Alpha will start on Sept 28, 2021 and run on Tuesdays evenings for 11 weeks at 7:30pm..

A chance to learn about, encounter and be empowered by the Holy Spirit. This event is not only for the Alpha class participants but for anyone at Hillcrest.
We would love it if you joined us for Alpha’s Holy Spirit event happening Saturday November 6th. It's an all day event 9:30 to 4:00 where we will take in several sessions from the Alpha Course.

WHY SHOULD I ATTEND
At some point, everyone wrestles with life’s big questions—questions about hope, purpose, meaning, and love. The reality is, most of us are just too busy to think them through. This is why Alpha exists.
There’s no cost, no pressure, and no follow-up if you decide after the first session that it’s not for you. It’s simply an open invitation to explore and connect with people on a deeper level.

Alpha is not a lecture you passively consume. Each session includes three key components: a time to connect with others, an engaging talk designed to inspire conversation, and a chance to share your thoughts and ideas honestly in an open group discussion.
