Family Feast & Membership Class Sept 20
Family Feast: after the morning service
Membership Class: 1pm Prayer Room
Join us for a family feast on Sunday, Sept 20 after the morning service. EVERYONE is welcome! Please bring a non-perishable food item and help us keep our food hamper shelves ready to go!

Women's Pie Bake Off
September 18 at 7pm
Hillcrest Church - Fellowship Hall
All women are invited to come to the fall Women's event on September 18 at 7pm where we will have a Pie Bake Off! Trish Seman will be our guest speaker that evening.

Alpha
Tuesday's starting Sept 22 - Dec 1 from 7-8:30pm in the Prayer Room
Alpha is a series of interactive sessions exploring the basics of the Christian faith. Alpha is for anyone who's curious to explore the big questions of life, faith and meaning. The talks are designed to encourage conversation and explore the Christian faith in a friendly, open and informal environment. You can say anything you like or nothing at all.

Each session looks at a different question about life and faith. The questions are designed to encourage conversation. Simply put, it’s an open, informal, and honest space to explore and discuss life’s big questions together.

Are you new to Hillcrest Church within the last 6 months? We would love to get to know you at our Welcome Lunch on Oct 4 after the morning service. Get a chance to meet some of the staff and other people at Hillcrest! This is a free lunch.

Sundays Common Ground Group
Every Sunday starting October 4th after the morning service
Common Ground is a LifeGroup that meets regularly on Sundays after church and is open to anyone. Together, we’ll dig deeper into topics from Sunday mornings through discussion, videos, studies, and other complementary resources.
​
Our hope is that Common Ground will be a place where people form meaningful spiritual friendships, grow in their faith, and find deeper connections at Hillcrest. We also hope it will become a starting place for new LifeGroups to form and multiply throughout the Hillcrest community.
​
This group starts on October 4. Please bring your own lunch. Babysitters available on request.

Do you want to be baptized?
Next baptism Sunday: October 4th
Next baptism Class: Sept 20 during the morning service
If you are brand new to faith in Jesus, or are a Christian who has not been baptized, you should be baptized! Through it you will be blessed, because there is always blessing in obedience!
​
Baptism is about going public with your faith in Jesus. It is a way of identifying with Jesus’ death and resurrection. Throughout the New Testament people believed and were immediately baptized. These baptisms were often followed by an encounter with the Holy Spirit.
​
We regularly offer baptism classes where you can learn more about baptism. Our next baptism class is Sept 20 during the morning service. To sign up for the class, contact the office.

MOM'S TIME OUT (MTO)
Starting Sept 22
TUESDAY MORNIGS | 9:30 - 11:30AM
For moms which includes time for coffee and connections, excellent childcare program, Bible study and prayer time. Sometimes a guest speaker comes in to speak on a topic interesting to parents of young kids. Childcare is available.
