Serve With Us
There are numerous opportunities for you to serve in and around the church. God has called us to serve and there are so many ways for you to use your gifts to serve alongside a passionate people as we pursue the Lord's calling for us.
We want all people who attend Hillcrest on any given Sunday to be welcomed and to feel like a part of the Hillcrest family, because they are! This is why the Guest Services Ministry is so vital. Our greeters and ushers are the first people that you see when you come through the doors of Hillcrest and they ensure that the church is a safe place, especially with all our little ones!
There's always opportunity to serve with our students. We have three weekly programs that run currently: Wednesday night Junior High, Friday night Senior High, and our Hillcrest Teens program which runs on Sunday mornings during the service. We need leaders for these programs, but also for multiple retreats throughout the year, that love youth and desire to see them grow in their walk with God.
LifeGroups are made up of people just like you who meet during the week in small group settings to ask questions and share insights about life, to help each other face life's trials, and to celebrate life's victories. Our desire is to help people experience true friendship--friendships that are real and go well beneath the surface where people can laugh and learn together and care for each other. We are looking for people to lead these groups. Contact our LifeGroups pastor, Dave Moore, to get started.
There are numerous ways to get involved with our little ones. From helping in one of the kid's rooms on a Sunday, to volunteering at a camp or special event, to odd jobs like sharpening pencils, there's a spot for you! Click here for more information.
*Anyone involved in children's ministries needs to take Plan to Protect training provided by the church.
We always have a project on the go, along with all of our regular janitorial and maintenance. Our volunteers decorate, attend the grass and flowers, remove snow, change light bulbs, service our heating and cooling units, work on repairs and upgrades, and keep the facility clean! We couldn't do all of this without your help! Contact our facilities manager, Doug Siggelkow, to see how you can get involved.
We are a Community-Serving Church - caring passionately for the oppressed, the abandoned, the helpless, and those in spiritual, relational, and physical need.
