WALK WITH JESUS:
SEEK PERSONAL RENEWAL
RENEWING PEOPLE FOR MISSION
WALK WITH JESUS
We can see the early church devoting themselves to the apostles' teaching. While Hillcrest Church can provide LifeGroups, teaching, worship and other experiences, we cannot coerce you to personally spend time with Jesus. We all have to take personal responsibility for our own walk with Christ. We believe that spiritual disciplines like reading scripture, prayer and many others are guaranteed places of encounter with Jesus. When you regularly walk with Jesus, it may not always be an emotional experience or felt experience, but through prioritizing time in your day or week to intentionally walk with Jesus, we know that Jesus through the Holy Spirit will show up and change your life in small and large ways. We seek to experience God for ourselves, so we can give to others out of an overflow of our own growing relationship with Jesus. We want to encourage you to WALK WITH JESUS!
Does God still speak today?
This is one of the most important questions a Christian can explore and has huge implications for every aspect of a person's life and walk with God.
Hearing God Seminars are a time we walk through and learn this together.
Set Free is a weekend set aside to focus on learning how to deal with sin, hurts, hang-ups and struggles that we all face on a daily basis.
God has called His people to live righteous lives and be His light in this world. We cannot possibly accomplish His calling with sin in our lives. It acts as a veil that dims our light and affects every part of our walk with Christ. Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, then you really are my disciples and you will know the truth and the truth will set you FREE” (John 8:31-32 NIV). We have seen many people set free from sinful strongholds and hurts in their lives through Christ’s power found in confession, forgiveness and inner healing. Don't miss this opportunity to be Set Free.
MAKING SPACE FOR GOD TO MOVE
Prayer Summits are a time the entire church is invited to gather together for worship and prayer. We gather to listen to God, pray for one another, and intercede for our church, community, and country.
