WAYS TO SERVE AT HILLCREST THIS SUMMER
SERVE AT HILLCREST THIS SUMMER
We hope you are as excited to see things opening up as we are! As reopening happens we want to remind you that there are many opportunities to serve each other.
There’s three specific areas we’d like to highlight for you where you can be involved this summer and into the fall.
Summers look a bit different in Hillcrest Kids.
Our preschool class continues through the summer while the elementary kids join their parents for Big Church.
Our Next Gen assistant JJ Moore will be leading the preschool program each week and will need some help! We are looking for people to sign up for one or two Sundays throughout the summer. Even if you've never helped with kids before, we invite you to come and experience church with our littles.
MEGA SPORTS CAMP
Mega Sports Camp could be a go for this summer IF we get enough people to help. We need to make a decision by June 7 about whether it will happen , and we are looking to get some feedback about how many are willing to serve. (We understand that some of you may not be comfortable with diving back into the full swing of things, and that is okay!)
Please take a moment to click the link below to let us know where you stand!
If we run Mega Sports Camp it will be August 9-13 from 8:30-12:30.
One of the most critical teams during this last year has been our Guest services teams. Our teams have done a fantastic job giving the extra care required to make sure that our space is as safe as possible for our guests. Our teams have done a great job, but we are in need of more team members to share the work.
Please email Karen at and let her know what summer Sunday's you would be available to serve and welcome our people back to Hillcrest or click the link below!
TECH & WORSHIP ARTS DEPARTMENT
The final team to consider joining is our worship and tech teams. There’s a variety of tech positions available, cameras, video switcher, media, lights, sound. We’ve got some excellent team members who are ready to train anyone for these roles. It’s a fun collision between creativity and technology and honestly this kind of experience could lead to a career in the audiovisual industry.
If you are a musician interested in joining the worship team don’t hesitate to reach out to find out more about what it looks like to be a part of one of the worship teams. We would love to see more people involved in this ministry.
