CARE

COMPASSIONATE ARMS REACHING ENCOURAGING

CARE Ministries is a visitation program at Hillcrest. It's not meant to take the place of the care happening in LifeGroups, but to add the extra care that is necessary depending on a person's life situation. The visit is intended to bring encouragement and hope as the CARE acronym says: Compassionate Arms Reaching Encouraging.

Who Do We Visit:

People who live in Senior Homes, especially those who have mobility issues and cannot go out anymore.

New moms!

Those who are sad or going through a hard time.

People in the hospital or sick at home.

Who can be involved and how?

This ministry is for all ages, male or female. To get involved, call the church office and talk with Dave Wicks. This is a marvelous ministry for those who have compassion for the hurting and enjoy bringing a word of encouragement to those around them.

A word, a smile, a listening ear and a touch on the arm go a long way, even if the visit is short.

Jesus says.."Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me."
