Week of Prayer
January 10-17
"And there was great joy in the city..."
- Acts 8:8
What is Week of Prayer?
At the start of each new year, we set aside a week to be intentional about praying together. Each day we will be praying with scripture to go along with each days theme.
We have planned a little different strategy than in years past:
-
Prayer meetings on Zoom, Monday through Friday
-
Prayer Walking in your neighborhood
-
Prayer and Fasting at the church on Saturday, Jan. 16th
-
Prayer Summit in person or on Zoom on Sunday, Jan. 17th

Here is a little something to get you started as you think about how to do Prayer Walking. Use the acronym for W.A.L.K listed below.

Overview of the Week of Prayer: Themes & Scripture:
There are themes for each day, Monday-Friday. Sundays, just pray what is on your heart. Use this graphic below to easily follow along with each day's themes on prayer. From Mon-Fri, visit our Facebook page to watch videos from members of our church family, sharing how they are praying for the theme of the day. (Videos will be posted at 8:00 am each day and you can watch them anytime).

PRAYER & FASTING AT THE CHURCH - Saturday, Jan. 16th
Saturday is designated as a day for fasting and prayer and the building will be open 9:00 am - 3:00 pm to either pray with a prayer team in the Prayer Room, or seek God in the sanctuary on your own. All appropriate measures of protection will be in place. Watch for info about Lori Dunbar leading a worship time on Facebook Live that day, with singing and words of encouragement for our own personal renewal.
See below for more information on fasting...
